Chris Dodd Facing Big Trouble In Connecticut

Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid's imminent demise notwithstanding, perhaps the most scrumptious victory Republicans have a more than good chance of having will be the defeat of Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut, a man whose fifteen minutes are finally up. The most recent polls show that Dodd's Republican challenger, Congressman Rob Simmons, now leads in the race by an average of over 6 points. Indeed, the most recent Rasmussen poll shows Dodd down by 10 points, a staggering number to say the least. It seems the people of Connecticut are really unimpressed by the Senator's financial misdeeds and are looking for someone a little more, well, ethical to represent them in the august chamber that is the U.S. Senate.

Good luck to Rob Simmons. You can donate to his campaign here.

  1. Chris Dodd is the biggest hack out there who is largely responsible for the economic meltdown that occurred last year. Additionally, his role in the AIG executive bonuses is another sad example of Dodd's beholdenment to big bank special interests.
